...Growing by leaps and bounds each year, the popularity of paintball hasn't truly reached it's zenith yet. With the growing existence of paintball leauges sprouting up around the United States, this interactive sport captured the attention of young and old alike. Easy to participate in, paintball equipment and supplies are easily available within any large metropolitan area, or otherwise online. Below we'll break down typical paintball supplies and equipment needed for a day of fun and entertainment.

Paintball Equipment and Supplpies

A typical player usually wears specially-designed paintball apparel and carries several pieces of gear designed for the game.

* Required for play:
o Paintball marker to shoot the paintballs
o Goggles/Face Mask specifically designed for the sport
o Paintballs
o Air source: Compressed Air Tank, CO2 Tank, or Cartridge to power the marker
o Paintball Loader (aka Hopper) to hold and feed the paintballs into the marker
o Comfortable Clothes suitable for crawling, sliding, desired protection, etc.
o Cleats, Athletic Shoes, or Boots, depending on terrain

* Common additional equipment, depending on type of play:
o Gloves, Elbow Pads and Knee Pads
o A pack designed to comfortably carry plastic pods containing extra paintballs
o Sgueegee or Swab for cleaning the barrel
o Chest Protector
o Throat Protector
o Hat, Beanie or Bandanna
o Active Camoflage or Ghillie suit
